Had a good bit of fun at the end of last year pulling together some interesting shots together for the WAEC "Your vote goes a long way" campaign to get people voting.

Always a good time working with the team at Rhythm and everyone did an amazing job pulling this one together.

The job required a few things.

1st \\ I needed to re-create a living room tv setup so we could essentially re-shoot some live action plates in 3D with a stylised TV effect.

2nd \\ Motion graphic icons had to be integrated with live action plates to emphasise a social media presence around the piece.

3rd \\ A large all encompassing shot to tie everything together and add a grand scope to the piece. I created 3 piece shot that transitioned from the ground all the way up to a planetary scale showing all of WA. This was created with a mix of a live action drone shot, google earth satellite data and a large his res 3D recreation of Earth. I felt it important that the final shot be of high quality and near realistic / movie quality. This involved taking publicly available NASA satellite images of the earth, clouds, light maps and geographical height maps to build out our model so that we could have multiple high resolution layers to match the time of day of the drone shot as well as allow a realistic time lapse of the earth spinning, with clouds moving and city lights actively turning on!
